As our Recruitment Officer, you'll be expected to lead and manage our talent acquisition initiatives. The primary duties and responsibilities of the role are:

  • Establishes overall recruiting best practices and requirements that reflect organization plans and objectives
  • Interviews applicants, analyzes responses, verifies references, compares candidates’ qualifications to job requirements, and submits recommendations to management
  • Identifies and manages all relevant applicant sources by researching and leveraging colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, social media, and other traditional and non-traditional channels
  • Determines applicant requirements by studying job descriptions and qualifications
  • Creates and posts creative job advertisements to capture the interest of target applicants
  • Evaluates candidates for open positions and submits recommendations to management
  • Represents organization for purpose of recruitment at job fairs, events, etc.
  • Administers necessary tests to measure candidates’ skill levels and qualifications for the position
  • Maintains accurate files and records of all applicants and candidates
  • Conducts initial processing and intake of hired candidates
  • May assist with other HR and operational duties as called upon

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in recruiting for staff roles, ideally sales
  • Experience in working for multinational companies is preferred
  • Sound interviewing skills and techniques
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and decision-making skills
  • Strong collaboration and relationship management with all levels of the company, especially senior management
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and projects, handle numerous overlapping processes, and bring them to successful execution
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Basic knowledge of local employment and HR laws
  • Strong written and verbal English proficiency
  • Proficiency with and passion for social media is an advantage
